The Australian Celtic Music Awards honour those musicians who perform a Celtic repertoire by providing Awards that are designed directly for them. The Awards will help to foster growth of the Celtic music industry and will recognise the Celtic musical tradition evident in much of contemporary Australian bush, folk and country music. Today there are ten Australian Celtic Music Awards. By 2016 these will increase to at least twelve.
Glen Innes is the heart of Celtic Country and the site of the Australian Standing Stones, a designated National Monument to Australia’s Celtic pioneers.
Glen Innes has hosted the nationally and internationally recognised hallmark event, the Australian Celtic Festival for twenty one years. Glen Innes is therefore the natural home of Australian Celtic Music.
Glen Innes Services Club, as the promoter of The Australian Celtic Music Awards, hosts the presentation of the Awards at the official Celtic Awards Night on the first Saturday of May each year. The gala night includes entertainment and a dinner, the presentation of the Australian Celtic Music Awards and presentation of the Australian Celtic Festival Committee’s three annual Triquetra Awards.
Presentation of the Australian Celtic Music Awards, Triquetra Awards, Celtic Roll of Honour and for the very first time the Australian Celtic Dance Championships.
Canapés and a two course meal will be served with live entertainment on stage after the awards presentation.
A gala evening not to be missed.

If it weren’t for our sponsors, the Australian Celtic Music Awards would be nothing more than a dream.
